Os dejo la descripción de un pequeño proyecto open source que propone un
colega mio Aleman y que podría incluso dar para un proyecto fin de
carrera que codirigiríamos los dos. Si alguien está interesado en el
proyecto fin de carrera o simplemente en el tema para participar que me
lo diga. O si conoce a alguien que le pueda interesar igual.

I want to use the "Open ERP" software and want to sync the calendar
entries with my ActiveSync device (HTC Desire smartphone).

There is an open source ActiveSync stack already available. You can
attach your own backend (z-push) to connect this to the solution you like.

Unfortunately this is just a basic start, not finished at all.

Logical flow: Smartphone (ActiveSync) -> z-push (connector) -> Open ERP

I have the phone, I have z-push and I have Open ERP. What is missing is
the 'backend' file to connect from z-push to Open ERP. Have a look at
the z-push homepage. You see a nice diagram right there.

Is all open source and the result can be open source as well.
