AI-AGRIFOOD 2026 BOOK OF ABSTRACTS PUBLISHED 

The UNIVERSITY OF
CORDOBA has published the _BOOK OF ABSTRACTS AI-AGRIFOOD 2026:
INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONGRESS ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN THE
AGRI-FOOD SYSTEM_, a volume compiling the abstracts of the scientific
papers presented at the AI-AGRIFOOD 2026 international congress, held in
Cordoba on 19 and 20 March. 

Published by UCOPRESS, the University of
Cordoba's publishing house, the volume brings together the main
contributions of national and international researchers on the use of
artificial intelligence in the agri-food sector. The papers address key
issues for the future of the sector, including digitalisation,
sustainability, decision-support systems, robotics, data spaces, smart
farming and other technological applications aimed at improving the
efficiency and competitiveness of the agri-food value chain. 

The
AI-AGRIFOOD 2026 congress brought together researchers, professionals,
institutional representatives and companies to exchange knowledge and
analyse the challenges and opportunities arising from the integration of
artificial intelligence into the agri-food system. The event was
organised by the UNIVERSITY OF CORDOBA through the INTERNATIONAL ENIA
CHAIR IN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND AGRICULTURE, in collaboration with
the ANDALUSIAN INSTITUTE OF AGRICULTURAL, FISHERIES, FOOD AND ORGANIC
PRODUCTION RESEARCH AND TRAINING (IFAPA) and the INSTITUTE FOR
SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE (IAS-CSIC). 

This publication forms part of the
activities of the University of Cordoba's International ENIA Chair in
Artificial Intelligence and Agriculture (TSI-100921-2023-3), an
initiative funded by the Spanish State Secretariat for Digitalisation
and Artificial Intelligence and by the European Union through the
NextGenerationEU funds, within the framework of Spain's Recovery,
Transformation and Resilience Plan. 

The publication is distributed
under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0
International licence (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0), thereby promoting the
dissemination of and open access to the scientific knowledge generated
within the framework of the congress.
